No.3 Kelp Sprouts with Three Treasures Wheat Cookies
Ingredients:
3 (small) handfuls of kelp sprouts
20g minced fresh ginger
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 red chilli (remove seeds & julienne)
Seasonings:
1 tablespoon cold pressed olive oil
1 ½ teaspoon mushroom soy sauce
A little sea salt
3-treasures wheat cookies
Method:
1) Soak kelp sprouts in water for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2) Add ginger, garlic, chilli and kelp sprouts in a bowl and pour in the seasonings. Mix well.
3) Place some mixture on top of the cookies and serve.
4) It can be used as a side dish with brown rice or noodles.
Effectiveness
Kelp is alkaline forming food. It can improve the acidity physique, remove impeded blood and prevent/guard against goiter (enlarged thyroid gland).
