Millet Porridge

No.11 Millet Porridge
(Relieves insomnia)

Ingredients:
80g millet
20g wild jujube kernels
15g wolfberries
10 pieces day lily
5 pieces red date (pitted)
2 tablespoons shredded cabbage
1 tablespoon corn kernels

Seasonings:
20cc olive oil (cold pressed)
2 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Method:
1) Wash all the ingredients thoroughly.
2) Place jujube kernels and 1000cc water into a pot and bring to boil. Turn down the heat and simmer for another 20 minutes. Discard jujube kernels and retain the stock.
3) Add millet, red dates, day lily and wolfberries into the stock and bring to boil.
4) Turn down the heat and simmer for another 30 minutes.
5) Turn off the heat and let it rest for further 10 minutes in the pot before it is ready to eat.
