Sweet Potato,Green Bean & Barley Porridge
No.2 Sweet Potato, Green Bean & Barley Porridge
Ingredients:
50g barley (preferably organic)
50g green bean (preferably organic)
75g sweet potato
Method:
1. Wash sweet potato and remove skin, cut into cubes.
2. Wash barley and green beans and pre-soak in 1000cc water for 4 hours.
3. Bring to boil and turn down heat till beans are cooked and finally add in sweet potato cubes and cook for a further 15 minutes.
Optional: Add brown rock sugar or oligo according to taste.
Effectiveness
Relieves internal heat and fever; detoxify; diuretic.
