Yam & Pumpkin Brown Rice
No.6 Yam & Pumpkin Brown Rice
Ingredients:
150g Chinese yam
50g pumpkin
80g brown rice
Method:
1. Wash brown rice, add 90 - 100cc water and soak for 4 hours before cooking or alternatively use hot water and soak for ½ hour before cooking in rice cooker.
2. Wash and peel skin of yam and pumpkin, cut into cubes. Steam to cook and set aside.
3. Combine the cooked rice, steamed yam and pumpkin into a bowl and serve while it’s hot.
Note: Women with tumor (i.e. breast, uterus, and ovary) should avoid eating Chinese yam.
Effectiveness
Improves the condition of anemia, menopause, irregular menses.
